Seems ironic that football is being sponsored massively by betting firms that they come down so heavily on players breaking rules. Need to have a look at themselves !!

Rules clearly state players are not allowed to bet on football matches.

Maybe players need to look at themselves first, because there are enough sporting events they can bet on without looking at football.

The way the Joey Barton issue was handle stunk.The FA have once again proved their total inability to run football.

If you were a pro on thousands a week, you would give a friend or family member the brass to stake with - Not do it yourself.

I think the idea of addiction is being massively understated here, it's almost disrespectful.
