I'm assuming;
Ashley - to the Palace fans for giving him abuse for once playing for their biggest "rivals", BHA
Andre - to all the doubters that have said he's not good enough

Barnes played for rivals Brighton. Gray was probably aimed at the numpties who say he can't hack it at the top level for us.

Gray does it every time he scores and aims it towards our fans. Seems petulant to me.

I'd be happy if Andre does it every game , at least twice. :D :D

I wonder with Andre if it runs a bit deeper than this. His whole career us built on proving people wrong - its quite possible it isnt aimed at our fans, but at those professionals who told him as a kid he'd never make it.

I think he does it to hear the silence of the opposition fans and there might be an element of him silencing critics as well. Don't really mind the celebration. Strikers do it all the time.

Andre Gray seems to have something to prove. That seems to be his motivation. It's motivated him to be the leading goal scorer at each Club he's been at for at least the past four seasons.
Fair play to him.

My initial comment on the Andre doubters wasn't aimed at those associated with us (although he does have them) but those throughout his career and life

Maybe he doesn't have a celebration so he just copies barnes.
