Centre of the park, not out wide. No. 10 argument justified.
Re: What a pass by Boyd!
Let's have a bit of perspective here. How many assists has he got in two years of premier league football?

Re: What a pass by Boyd!
When Boyd put that ball through to Gray. I thought oh no. What's his first touch gonna be like? And when it mattered. When it really really mattered, at that vital second. It was perfect! Just perfect! As was the finish!

BT spending ages on the Flanagan challenge on Zaha in the area - Poll no pen - pundits pen - Poll arguing wouldn't be given by a video ref either

That bit of quality is what we wait for him to do every week instead of turning back towards our own goal or feebly losing the ball.
As good a ball as anyone has played this season.

We knew when Gray was in that right channel position he was going to score. That is where he nearly always does. We don't do it enough.

Defour would have made that pass twice in each half at least.

First name on the team sheet and will be next season too

Don't think so. He usually can't last until the 2nd half!FulledgeClaret wrote:Defour would have made that pass twice in each half at least.

It was an excellent pass. Didn't appreciate how good the ball was until I saw the highlights.

It looked even better on Match o' t Day.
Outside of the left foot, delightful.

Lovely pass, and the first touch to intercept the Palace ball forwards deserves a mention too.

Re: What a pass by Boyd!
Intercepting the high ball, quick look up, then a sublime and perfectly weighted ball through to Gray.
It was a beautiful pass, barely got a mention on the media outlets but that is hardly a shock.
Iam a big fan of George, all credit to Gray for doing the rest with a cool head. Fantastic goal in every respect.

Re: What a pass by Boyd!
I'd love to see the stats for the distance covered by Boyd yesterday. Add to that pass the several shots he blocked, the general hassle he dealt out to Palace players when they had the ball and the vast acreage he covered in a non-stop 90 minutes of flat out running. An immense performance - one of the most heroic of the season.

Total class by one of our hardest working players.
That pass alone should guarantee a new deal.

I certainly hope he gets offered, and agrees, another deal.

Amazing pass not just the bend but how it was perfectly weighted. I posted a couple of weeks ago that the job he does for the team limits his flair and creativity, that was a classic example.

Re: What a pass by Boyd!
Great ball, however he only played the pass as he did because he has 'no' right foot, therefore should be no where near the right side of the pitch, I suppose then by default, a masterstroke from Dyche..hmmm

Agreed, bfcjg, but not many understand how reliant we are on Boyd.

Superb ball. Well appreciated by the BT commentator.
