Rovers game is live on Sky at noon on Saturday

Post by summitclaret » Mon May 01, 2017 8:32 pm

As is Forest's.

Don't know if our Fan's zone will have tv, but it should have if the Club are on the ball.

Either way, the pubs in town will be full and buzzing.

Just imagine what it will be like on the Turf at 3.00 if Rovers go down.

Where will you watch Rovers possible/likely demise?

Chumpionship is played Sunday, sadly.

It would have been a cracking pre-match warm up seeing them crying at Brentford but alas not.

The Fanzone has TV. Normally three in the tent. Last year they had a big screen brought in for Derby v Brighton game before our game against QPR.

If they do survive they'll no doubt stick with TM, thus turning survival into a stay of execution.
The inevitable has a habit of happening.

I'll be watching it at home.

Might even send the missus and daughter out for a few hours.

I made the same mistake and thought it was on Saturday.

Looks like Rovers fans aren't sure when it is either as they have yet to sell 1600 tickets for the biggest game of their recent history.

Hope they go down. Hope to watch and enjoy it.

But dont think it would be in line with the class and taste of our club to show it.

Looks like an early doors pre-lunchtime session in the Miners, pie and peas, John Smiths and cheering on Brentford.

Three points for us on Saturday and then Blackburn lose by more goals than Forest do on Sunday.

What a great journey home from Brentford that will be.

If Forest and Blackburn end up on same points and same goal difference, it then goes onto goals scored. Blackburn have scored 9 fewer than Forest.

So that's points, goal difference and goals scored working against Blackburn.

We just need them to lose basically.

Going walking in the Lakes, so hopefully will come back down to find out that they have gone.

If they haven't, then hey, they haven't. Still light years behind us.

Walk begins at 9.30am for health and safety reason a refreshment stop is required (pre planned destination of pub with sky sports) allow a 2 hour break to rule out the risk of dehydration, walk then commences at 2pm with an average increase of 10mph in your walk.

Good idea Dom, but not many pubs on the fells!

Plus what if they stay up?

Rovers fans on the school run this morning convinced that they have gone.

They are gone, Lancaster. Sunday is just a formality.

You have 5 days to re-plan your route. I thought you would be far better organised than this.

As for what if they stay up ? - they won't, that is why sky have put them on live so all those of us who can't get a ticket for Brentford can still watch.

I have heard the club are bringing out a dvd with the match in full if they are relegated.

That's our club not theirs.

I might pop along to Griffin Park with the lad in tow. I think he'll appreciate the contrast between May 2016 at The Valley and May 2017 at Griffin Park.
