Lets Sign Leonardo Ulloa

Post by northernpowerhouse » Thu May 04, 2017 9:00 pm

Randomly popped into my head today. Big upgrade on Vokes/Barnes. Isn't wanted at Leicester. Affordable. Lets have him.

Ulloa has his strengths but I don't think he's that big an upgrade
on Vokes or Barnes.
Hes only scored once this season I believe but hasn't really
started that many games for them as he's third choice at present.

We need to unearth another Gray or better.

He's a good player. Lots stronger than Vokes and Barnes, decent finisher. Would suit Dyche's system perfectly. 11 goals in the one Premier League season where he was actually in the team.

Not much of an upgrade.

Not too keen to have his, "I'm not playing again!" attitude either.

To similar to Vokes and Barnes and no better.

Plus he is the biggest Jessie I've ever seen. If Barnes is known for the dark arts this guy invented the damn thing.

He is a decent player but he will cost a fair bit and will want to be paid a fair bit.

He also doesn't have the mentality to be a Burnley player in Dyche's squad...............

Before his public tantrum I would've said yes, he's a decent player.

Now I think he's tainted goods.

Let's look for younger, hungrier options.

Not for me, thanks. Certainly no real improvement upon what we already have. No resale value either.

How about we go for my old mucker Leonardo Da Vinci, instead?

We'd be guaranteed a certain artistry in midfield, and indeed alongside Defour he could be the architect behind a top-six finish next season. For forward thinking, I have known no-one better: his invention of the mini attack-submarine in fact a great boon to my own unrivalled career in the Ottoman navy.

On the downside, he hasn't been well for a while now, and has lost a lot of weight over the last five hundred years.

No. We need hungry players from abroad or lower leagues who want to prove something. We need to unearth gems which historically we've been very good at. Would prefer us to invest in the scouting network than extra wages or fees for PL prima donnas.

Not really an upgrade just an older version of what we already have, would be good for a championship side not for us.

I'd start with either Vokesy or Ash before that donkey. We need another quick'un.
