Pulis hopeful he'll sign a new deal, usually an indication the current one is running down.
We were linked with him previously and he's an East Lancs lad.
He's been very impressive the last two years might be worth a sneaky bid if only to ruffle Pulis.

I think West Brom would jump at the chance to string us along again.
Hopefully we have learnt from the previous naive approach though.

He wasn't getting a game at the time at West Brom which is why he was looking to move

Maybe easier to do business with now that Peace isn't at the helm (or is he still involved?).

Either way, they'll pay more than us if they want to keep him.
