Charlie Procter to lead the team out tomorrow
The young lad who is sadly battling cancer who is an Accrington fan is leading out Burnley F.C tomorrow.
A great gesture by BFC and by the other clubs in East Lancashire as he has already lead out Accrington and Blackburn.
Let's give him a big Burnley welcome.

Charlie Proctor
Charlie is aged 4 and is suffering from Hepatoblastoma, a liver cancer, which was diagnosed last year. His family are trying to raise £315,000 for treatment in America.
He's been mascot recently at both Accrington and Blackburn and tomorrow will lead out the Clarets at Turf Moor.
His fundraising page is at

Sorry ClaretAndJew, hadn't seen your thread - merged the two now.
Re: Charlie Procter to lead the team out tomorrow
How about a rendition of '' there's only one Charlie Proctor '' when he walks out to show the lad and his family our support. A donation also to his fund of course.
Re: Charlie Procter to lead the team out tomorrow
Nice gesture. If all the players chipped in I'm sure they could get well on the way to that target.

Great decision by BFC. I hope this will help highlight Charlie's plight and help his family raise the necessary funds for his life saving trip to America.

Latest news on Charlie. He's now found someone who'll perform the operation in Birmingham

Small donation made. Only mentioning to keep the thread near the top. Brave lad.

A lot of clubs have done bucket collections to help raise the funds for Bradley - I'm sure we could have organised something today had we known about this earlier, but at least we can give him a rousing reception.

Brought a tear to my eye watching the little 'un walking out hand-in-hand with Tom. Hope he had a good day

Well that was an up and down read. Thrilled for the lad with the headline and the top paragraphs. Only to be kicked in the nuts at the end as the poor lad still has it in his lungs. Fight on Charlie and good luck.
PS I wondered if the guy who wrote that is vein?
