If the left say you are racist, you are racist.

The losing Labour Candidate in Padiham & Burnley West, and former Head of Leisure at County Hall, appears to think that it may be down to other factors....

Of course it is. Stop being so politically correct and call this spade a spade, will you?

Almost everyone in England has a UKIP representative in government; mostly in the European parliament. Are we all knuckle-draggers?

A UKIP supporter complaining about prejudiced and ignorant opinions? What a time to be alive.

Sounds like you had a very pleasant team CFC.

Refs have a duty to stop players swearing in public parks like Towneley. Let me guess he come over before the game and asked politely you refrain from swearing so the lads decided to wind him up before the game had started to see how far you could push him?

Just wish Premier league refs would show the same balls with Rooney.

Ricky Tomlinson that darling of the left was once a member of the NF but he is now a left wing spokesman and fair play to him.I voted for the local candidate not the party. At the general election I won't vote UKIP I'll vote for the candidate who I think will work hardest for Burnley coupled with the manifesto. It won't be Labour as Julie Cooper is a good MP and fights Burnleys corner however Labour at the moment are a joke party and would ruin the country. That leaves Lib Dems as Birtwistle was an excellent MP and I like the 1p for the NHS pledge or the Tories don't know the candidate but it looks as though they are in for a landslide so better to be in with the people in power. Also I quite like some of their policies. I'm a floater (no pun intended) and I am sure there are a lot out there. If also they are trying to slur Burnley as a town full of little Englanders look at the turn out very poor. I think he showed loyalty to local people and issues which paid dividend for him.If for example Farage would have stood he wouldn't have been elected.

As stated above, hope he's a better councilor than referee. One of those who thought it was all about him.
Seems to put himself about in his ward so fair play to him.

To be fair he wasn't like that at all. He absolutely made the most of the little bit of power he had. But he had plenty of knobheads to deal with. And it's obviously no reflection on his ability as a councillor.

I got booked off Alan for arguing with my own teammate over a goal we conceded so know what he can be like, but when you seen how some caved into the local knuckle draggers I would rather have that every week.
