Saturday racing
3 15 JUST THAT LORD 11/1
This horses best form is at Epsom last time and Windsor…both similarish tracks to goodwood…in as much as speed is the key.
Well drawn today and should run well…quite a few of these would prefer slower ground….ew 1234 on betfair for me,
3 35 LARCHMONT LAD 50/1 betfair …I am backing this mainly in the 1234 place market on betfair at a bit better than 100/30 …also a tiny bet at 50 on betfair in win market.
Ran in the CRAVEN last time when I tipped the winner EMINENT…EMINENT ran just off the stands rail with the fancied RIVET…this was the best ground all week on the track…LARCHMONT LAD was much higher rated and fancied in the betting.... raced with 2 others towards the centre and beat them easily….I think if you had swapped racing positions then we could have had a different result….market isn’t taking that into account and the ratings have been hugely adjusted based on that 1 run with a huge track bias...so keen on that 100/30 for a first 4 finish with the win just being a huge bonus….the fav CHURCHILL obviously commands huge respect.
3 40 BRIYOUNI 16/1 is a winner at the course and has won at the distance….the sire is an out and out fast ground sire and when I checked the draw stats for this thirsk hunt cup ( careful how you say that ) the 7 draw has won 5 times from 20…next best stall only won twice so it is clearly the place to be.
Update at lunch but they are the early thoughts.

Re: Saturday racing
Thanks again Happy, backed the middle one on betfair at a ratio of 4:1 for the place:win and the other two ew singles and ew double.
Re: Saturday racing
Sorry to hijack your thread happy lad but I'm off to Haydock next Saturday I'd like my bets in place before I set off ideally, will you be looking at the card at all?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Saturday racing
morning all
just been out on my bike getting of all things jelly and ice cream...can't think why...Diesel, one of my customers is going to haydock next week and has asked me for tips...he said last time he went he backed 6 horses that finished last....I said that if its a 7 race card then I can do better than that..he he.
I will try and post one for each race if possible....just checking the prices again now...utc.

Re: Saturday racing
At Haydock, you can do a lot worse that following Tom Dascombe particularly when he has Richard Kingscote in the saddle

Kimberella each way for me, he is another horse I follow and he won well at Lingfield at 9/2 last time.

Re: Saturday racing
I took a good look at that race but put it in the too difficult tray...there will almost certainly be a track bias today...but it can be anywhere at newmarket...PROFITABLE has drawn the 1 box...that box is 0/20 in this race....I was impressed by PRICELESS last time but connections say good or softer is ideal so given her the swerve....if I knew that MARSHA was fully wound up for this I would go ew 1234 her...a filly I like....KIMBERELLA has been great in his career and looks sure to run a race...tough race though and my notebook will be open, not my wallet...hope he obliges for you...ps
good result yesterday with the musselburgh result...will be surprised if epsom isnt the plan now....hopefully get the right ground.
