Today's football.

Post by Sidney1st » Sat May 06, 2017 11:48 am

The Palace back 5 today is -

Hennessey

Ward, Kelly, Schlupp, Van Aanholt.

Vs City's attackers

Silva

Sterling, De Bruyne, Sane

Jesus

That's going to be an interesting game.

City, Man U and Spurs seem to be on a semi self-destruct mission with their last results. City were lucky to grab a draw at Boro!

No bets today, but Palace at 11/1 for an away win looks decent to me. I think you can get similar odds on a draw too.

I hope so - but people said exactly the same thing when they were away to Boro.

It'd come in handy if Palace, Stoke, Hull, Watford and Swansea lost...and of course West Brom.

Palace have been abysmal so far.

They've had just 18% possession.

Just looking at the stats. City average just over 16 shots per game. They've already had 9. Another goal for City in this game, surely.

Kind of annoyed that Zaha is my captain this week. Normally set my team on Saturday mornings but hadn't realised there was a game on last night :(

I don't think Palace will win another game. Keeps us safe irrespective of other results.

Good goal, but it's now got the feel of a practice match.

Palace seem bereft of ideas.

I dunno, we were pretty bad when City stuffed us at Turf Moor, when it was lashing it down, Kev Mc went to the pub etc.

Report in papers during the week that swearing gives you extra strength. The scientists are doing some more research to try and understand how this works. Perhaps BFS can help them?

Palace's goal difference now worse than ours. Their next home game, against Hull, could be very interesting considering their last game is away at Man Utd. Granted Utd may play a weakened team (Europa league priority ?) Palace may need to get something at Old Trafford to stay up.
It would be highly amusing if they dropped :D

Swansea 9/9 points from their remaining 3 is certainly doable. Today's draw and Hull's defeat could be massive.
