Best support of the season
Great turnout from wba. At least 20 maybe more coaches. Nothing to play for. Fair play.

How many all told? 20 coaches is only 1,000 fans.

There were only 20 coaches....The good news is " free travel to Burnley ", the bad news is " it's 2 to a seat "

There may have been more than that. Longest ive srrn it take coaches to leave anf they were doubled up on belverdere road which meant the road was closed to home fans.Quicknick wrote:How many all told? 20 coaches is only 1,000 fans.

Only 3hrs max up the road, 3pm Saturday Ko, last away game of the season. I would expect every EPL team to sell out.

Came across as a load of arrogant two hats to me. The sort of fans you want to shut up with a last gasp equaliser.

Re: Best support of the season
Blackburn have sold 1600 tickets for , arguably, their biggest game in the last 20 years.
For "an established premier league side" I'd say that is disappointing.

Loads of coaches going past the Park View. I had to tie a string round my neck attached to my right hand attached to my left hand so I could repeatedly flash a V them and gesticulate the hand up and down without getting cramp. I started at five fifteen and have just finished such was their numbers. The strings on eBay.

There was over 30... when we played celtic there could have been 100 and that was some sight going down rossy road after the game.

Re: Best support of the season
I was stuck behind them all, the motorbike cops stopped all traffic to let 46 - I counted them, sad muppet that I am - out in convoy.
I passed the first one away from the Turf at the Wigan turn off on the M6.
Funny thing was I recognised and talked to two of the drivers, one from Leon's, the other from Happy Days coaches because they take our skiing group from Burton out to St. Anton every February. The cop nearby couldn't quite get his head round a bloke in a Burnley shirt and scarf nattering to a couple of oppostion fans' drivers through their cab windows.

Yep, I heard the coaches were free, but can't be certain. However, even so for a club with nothing to play for that away support was very impressive. Fair play.

Proper club. Our style of football is easier on the eye though. Dyche the Padawan will soon surpass Pulis.

Re: Best support of the season
So turns out wba sold more than anyonr bar man utd who took just 4 more fans.
Free coaches are not. For an end of season meaningless game under Pulis thats some achievement.

Me neither, that was our summer in Burnley on Saturday, and you had a scarf on!?
