Re: Corbyn runs over reporter
I genuinely can't believe there hasn't been more fuss over this.
Jeremy Corbyn, who has pretensions to lead the country appoints a man to drive a car and he can't even pick a candidate for that most basic of tasks. When your ONE job in life is to drive a car is pretty incompetent to go running over somebody's foot. This is down to a man who is trying to persuade the country that he can be Prime Minister. A man who wants us to have faith that he can choose Chancellors, Home Secretaries etc.
If he can't even find somebody good enough to drive a car what does this say about his abilities?
And then there's the BBC!
This ought to be headline news and they've squirrelled it away in the "light" news. What's that all about? It just typical of the bleeding heart metro-luvvies at the tax-funded corporation to cover up for their beloved Corbyn like this.
It really is the worst of the UK and it pretty much sums up the reasons why I chose to leave England in the end.
I despair. I really do.

Rationing, shortages, internment, compulsory military service, people missing " presumed dead ", exchange controls, people's property being requesitioned and a thriving " Black Market " in nylons, whisky and cigarettes ...sounds like a modern Venezuela or Cuba, !!AndrewJB wrote:Also in the 70s, 60's, 50's and 40's. You've lost it mate. Go see a doctor.
How can Corbyn be trusted to run a country if he can't even select a driver that can't run over something it's impossible for him to see?

Are you even sure Corbyn selects his driver? Are you sure it's not the government that pays for the Opposition leaders' protection (which would include an extremely well-trained driver)?

I'm sure Rowls wasn't being serious, although he's become such a self-parody when it comes to politics it's often difficult to tell!Imploding Turtle wrote:You've lost it mate. Go see a doctor.

He quite clearly thought that it was not a good idea to stop.
It is in fact an offence to not stop after causing an accident.

Re: Corbyn runs over reporter
Having read his fanaticism about Capitalism it's difficult to tell when he's trolling and when he's being serious. So i just assume he's being serious all the time because i think sometimes he is being serious until people call his opinions ridiculous and then claims he's only joking. This might even be an example of that.cloughyclaret wrote:Oh come on. He isn't that bad

They'd do well to prosecute Corbyn over it.

Re: Corbyn runs over reporter
You really hate this bloke don't you?
I have no doubt he has been told that, as leader of the opposition, if a crisis occurs he needs to stay put and listen to security advice. This picture (in The Sun) means bugger all, in fact it could be argued that he wants to leave the vehicle and is being told not to.

The big story should be why was Tom Cruise in the car with him.

There are probably "journalists" at the Star looking into that.

Re: Corbyn runs over reporter
They will attack him on anything, he can't even walk down the street without being accused of disrespecting the war dead - see link. Whatever you think of his politics it's a disgrace how a lot of the right wing rags treat him. Sadly that's the standard of debate we've sank to in politics these days.taio wrote:I'm far from a Corbyn fan but attacking him on this is bizarre to say the least

He notched up another ankle on the way out apparently. Corbyn must be stopped before he unleashes further damage on the unsuspecting British public.

Now we know what went on......
Cruise - "I feel the need, the need for speed"
Driver (NOT EFFING CORBYN) - "But there's a man in the road"
Corbyn - "F**k him, he looks Jewish"
