Saturday racing

Post by happyclaret17 » Sat May 13, 2017 12:05 am

For those going to Haydock
My selections would be

2 00 Whataknight 12/1
2 35 Lexington Law 5/2
3 10 John Constable 8/1
3 45 So Beloved 7/1
4 20 Mythmaker 15/2
4 55 Ash Park 9/1
5 25 Carigrad 8/1
5 55 De Faoiithesdream 9/2

Elsewhere and inc Haydock.

2 00 WHATAKNIGHT 12/1
Won this race last year on similar ground and similar rating…back to hurdling now after
Some chase starts…looks very fair at 12/1.

2 40 SILVERRICA 6/1
Lost a lot of ground at the stalls last time
And did really well to get back into race.
In good heart and looks set to run well.

2 50 KNIGHTS TABLE 7/1
Was heavily backed last time at ripon to
Beat a horse he had ran against before.
Strictly on the book he shouldn’t have
Beaten him but he won easily, like a much
Improved horse…a progressive horse.

3 45 SO BELOVED 7/1 I backed this horse in last years
Race when Smullen rode….he made a real mess of the
Job and tudhope back riding a big plus for this horse who
Loves this course and distance.

4 00 CHARLES MOLSON 25/1
Has good course and distance form and last time had an impossible
Draw at goodwood….very tough race but at the price this looks
Worth an ew tickle.

4 35 HADDAF 4/1
Went clear with a strong fav last time out and the 3rd horse that day
Won easily at Chester this week so form looks strong….some well bred
Expensive newcomers in this but this ones racing experience could be key.

5 10 PICKET LINE 16/1
Ran well from a bad draw over course and distance this time last year.
Won his last run so in form.

5 55 DE FAOITHESDREAM 9/2
Looks the most likely in the field to be suited by conditions.

will check markets tomorrow lunch and update if anything else...utc.

Thank you Happy.

You have put some work in there. If I win my 11 fold each way double (excluding carigrad- as the odds changed to SP) then I promise to give you half my £2000000. Fingers crossed.

Thanks again happy. Anyone any advice on what bets to put these into? With Charles Monson at 1600 being long odds, I've done that as an each way single. If that horse wins or places, could do with seeing the returns really.

good luck everyone today...if any of you get to haydock early try and post on here if you think the ground has changed will you...I have assumed good or faster ground for haydock...the track has good drainage and in would take a lot of rain to change it to g/s or softer....utc.

glad you had a good day...I did the card for a customer of mine...if truth be known I perhaps spent more time on that card than the rest of the racing....7 meetings in a day gets very difficult to pick the right ones...much prefer 3 or 4 meeting days....especially if its a sunday or monday and southwell is involved...utc.
