Stumbled across the programme from when I was mascot and thought it would be a cool feature for others to post pics of their day if they were mascot.
Here's the prog from when I was in 1985, a 1-1 draw with Orient, a game in which Kevin Hird missed a Pen, lucky I was not !
I even taped the 10p that the ref used for the coin toss to the back page

Remember the game. Wayne Biggins had a shot that hit both posts and stayed out. It was also the first time I missed a goal through taking a leak (a feat to be repeated many times since).

I remember Wayne Biggins being quite handy at some point
What's the story with the pound coin sellotaped to it?

I think they used to pay you to take the programmes!

Seriously, I did wonder the same. Always interesting seeing old programmes. I bought one recently that is from the 50's. Quite funny to see how they've changed over the years.

The team photo on that programme looks like it was taken in the Prncess Royal's beer garden.

The OP mentioned that he sellotaped the 10p that was used in the coin toss prior to the game starting to the back page of the programme, but this is not a 10p, nor was it sellotaped to the back page

Cheers. Didn't see that line of text in between the pictures. Underneath that sellotape it does look like a 10p, guess the tape makes the coin look gold

it is a 10p, and it's on the back page, the very last page could technically be described as the inside back cover

I like Derek Scott's answer to the question '
If you were not a footballer, what do you think you might be?'
Answer: '
Struggling'

it's not on the back page - the back page displays the teams.
