JBG

Great cross for the goal today. He's been unlucky with injuries this season but he's produced some great moments this season. I think we'll see the very best of him next season.

Should see some great 10 minute cameos from him after 80 minutes of Boyd and Arfield running around doing nowt.

Gudmundsson is a real positive from this season (among many of course). Sure, it's a shame regarding his injuries but he's shown he can be a real threat at this level. I'd love to see him more involved next season.

It's no coincidence that he got an assist today, after Arfield hasn't registered one all season. He's just a better player. Absolutely should start vs West Ham

You're right, Arfield hasn't registered one assist all season. He has two.

Guddy is absolutely class; his ability to pick out precise passes whilst running with the ball at speed (Barnes' winner vs Palace) is the best I've ever seen. He's got a mean left peg on him as well!

Do you think Dyche got it wrong not starting him today?

I'll say Dyche missed an opportunity to look at his alternatives

The official reason will probably because he hasn't played much football. If there's is a less creative player who does more tracking back and off the ball work ( which I think he picked up fairly quickly) then that player will start first.

Yes then.

We need to look for better than Arfield and Boyd... and we already have the next version of better on our bench.

Will hopefully get a good pre season this Summer and stay fit, definitely got the potential to be a key man for us next season. Can't really see the logic in not playing him and Brady today now we're safe.

SD much too loyal. Ward went the best part of 12 months before a regular start

If Boyd & Arfield are due to leave and not have contracts renewed, it will have been disappointing to see Brady And JBG not start

There's two sides to this.
I love the fact Dyche has his old school values and is loyal to his starting 11.
I hate the fact he doesn't be more daring and switch more from the start.
But,on the whole I love the fact he's our manager.

I think that Boyd and Arfield are primarily expected help the full backs and to cover midfield gaps that arise due to having 2 up front. If they were allowed to concentrate on attacking and being creative more then we might see them differently.

The trick next season is to utilise the more creative players, such a Gudmundsson and Brady whilst not jeapardising the team.

I think a fit JBG should be a starter, I can understand why people want to see him start next week, but I think the time to sort next seasons starting line-up is pre season. Play an experimental team against West Ham and it could be written off with one poor result. We might as well finish the season as we started it.

I like Boyd and Arfield. But they have no business in a premier league team that wants to stay a premier league team. I'll make a prediction. If these two are regular starters next season, Burnley FC will start 2018 ' 2019 in the Championship.
