Rovers its not all gloom and doom
just look at all those local derbies you can look forward too. Rochdale, oldham, bury all just down the road and a nice trip to the seaside to fleetwood and maybe Blackpool should they get promoted. You may look forward to a tuesday night game against Scunthorpe if your lucky. Have a nice 2017/18 season

Re: Rovers its not all gloom and doom
Not forgetting the Tuesday night Poundland Trophy competition which guarantees a place to the winners int' Champions League.

I take issue with your title. None of it is doom and gloom!

Every chance they'll be at home to some relentlessly non achieving forever small town club (with no slight whatsoever intended to said club), maybe even in the first round of the cup, whilst we're running out at Wembley in anticipation of Tottenham away.
An apposite time for reflection of the compare and contrast variety.

Re: Rovers its not all gloom and doom
Your'e not on your own. When looking forward to their fixtures next season, a lot of people tend to overlook the fact that Wigan were also relegated. (The possibility of a trip to Rotherham for a January midweek fixture is not to be overlooked either)moaninclaret wrote:sorry nil desperandum i forgot about wigan so we will add that to the nice little collection of derbies lol
