Not me in the middle btw. The one of real interest is on the left but the one on the right played for Birmingham City

Do I get an extra point for Andy Cairns in the middle?

Re: Name the players
Looking at the facial expressions, the guy on the left clearly has a finger somewhere where the fella in the middle wasn't expecting. Tho he seems pretty made up about it #ArseneFinger

Re: Name the players
Well the one in the middle is clearly Carl Pilkington and I also recognise Tony Morley.
Re: Name the players
Been out bowling (surprisingly!). Yes, the player on the left is Tony Morley. He was presenting the prizes at a bowls comp in the Midlands. He was introduced as a Villa legend but as one of my first ever Burnley heroes I put them right. What a nice bloke. Told me a few tales of Bob Lord. The other guy is Ken McNaught and played for Birmingham. And yes, you do get an extra point for knowing the middle one is me......

Re: Name the players
Andy......When you won the Waterloo Handicap at Blackpool you probably have little recollection of beating me 21-17 in the 5th round.

Re: Name the players
That would be the last 64. I'd have to look back in the archives. I can remember the last 32 onwards but nothing before unfortunately

Still see Mick Cordey in the Bob Lord stand every home game.
Is he still bowling?

Re: Name the players
Bert, seriously, check out Ken's playing career! There is a 'Birmingham' connection, but it is in claret and blue!
Re: Name the players
Yes, Mick's still bowling.
Regarding Ken McNaught, I was told he played for Birmingham City. If that's wrong then I stand corrected.

Re: Name the players
Years ago played for NL+F juniors in same team as you, Cairnsy. Was glad when you and Dennison were too old... Gave rest of us a chance. I've not played bowls in 20+
