If we lose on Sunday...
...please stay to the very end and applaud the Team & Manager as they leave the pitch. For heavens sake don't give TV commentators the chance to say "Burnley fans are leaving 10 minutes from the end...they've seen enough!"

...it would take some gloss from an epic season.
The fellas deserve a celebratory lap of honour in front of full stands, whatever the outcome. COYC.

I fancy invading the pitch...never done that!
Re: If we lose on Sunday...
I'll stay and give the lads a round of applause. Then it's back home to light the bbq and open a few beers to celebrate a fantastic achievement by a fantastic club.
WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE.

I will stop and applaud LCP, but only if they get on with it. If they disappear back in the dressing room for 15 minutes for no apparent reason then I am off.

Re: If we lose on Sunday...
We usually just get off back to the car on the final whistle.
I'm not against any of it, the tracksuit clad kids running on the pitch, the grumpy OAPs booing them, the stewards half-heartedly ushering them off. The forlorn PA announcements, then waiting half an hour to see the players you've just spent 9 months watching, except this time with various family members.
It's all good, but when you've seen it 20 odd times, I'm happy to leave it to the hardcore clappers.

Re: If we lose on Sunday...
Let's do away with tradition and get it all done at half time.
Reduce the break in the changing rooms to 5 mins to give the players time to have a wee wee and change their Alice bands - then back out with their little kiddy winks for a quick lap of honour which will last no more than 10 mins before we kick off for the second half and bag another 3 past The Irons to end the season with a superb 6-0 victory.
Then we can all go the pub for tea and medals.
Happy Days
