Who, who, who?
Not an owl impression, I'm genuinely asking.

Re: Rats
I wonder if any of their players are worth looking at? JBG was relegated last year with Charlton, Heaton with Bristol City. B*stards have cat 1 set up, maybe some of them are worth a look.

Why no?Steve1956 wrote:No
They're better at Youth team level Than they're at first team level. We're in prime position/location to nick a bunch of their youngsters.

Re: Rats
Got to say I think KRBFC has a great idea there, in regards to poaching youth players from them.
Now would be a great time to do it, with our facilities now open, just down the road from them so no real moving/re-locating required etc.

Re: Rats
I agree - any decent youngster in Burnley in the last few years signed for Blackburn or one of the other bigger clubs rather than us. Hopefully this will change in the future but there are youngsters at Blackburn and other clubs who are better than ours.
Mahoney definitely looks like one and then there are couple of ex Blessed Trinity lads there who are very good young prospects. One of them lives across road from me....Willem Tomlinson (??) - he`s broke into the first team a few times this season or been on their bench. I know Blackburn have had a much worse first team than us for years now but their youngsters are still a long way ahead of ours.
Not sure the best thing for these players is to be ploughing their trade in first division - I get that this might be a good learning curve etc but it is not the path to first team football many of them have chosen...and getting the sh-ite kicked out of you by a big Peter Swan type centre back every week might be a world away from what they thought was going to happen when they signed those schoolboy forms !!
