Venkys injected another £5.8 million on 19th April, to keep the show on the road.....
Source on BRFCS suggesting that last month's wages were paid from a Private account of one of the Desai family..
Putting all these events together, tax-raids, 2 sets of Accountants from major firms crawling over the carcass, and wages being paid from a current account, then I suggest change may be afoot ??

We all knew, and bastards fans knew, they were in deep **** long ago. They COULD have been preparing these cut backs, and executing them long ago.
A case of shutting the barn door after the poor molested horse has bolted.
Whatever crap they are in is only made worse through the lack of forward planning.
AND they expect football fans to feel sorry for them!!!!!

But I thought the Venkys were the bad men in this story? You mean they threw more good money after bad rather than allowing the club to fall into administration and certain relegation? Don't tell the Rovers fans, they either won't believe it or they'll complain that it should have been a £58m injection!Clarets4me wrote:Venkys injected another £5.8 million on 19th April, to keep the show on the road.....

One of the lads who plays cricket for Ossy Immanuel works at Deadwood and he was saying this at weekend. Strong rumour that Mowbray will be on his bike and David Dunn will be taking over. Yes that's the David Dunn who ststistically is the worst ever manager in Oldham Athletics history....ElectroClaret wrote:Quite a few Rovers fans on the LT message board saying Tony Mowbrays much-anticipated meeting

Difficult to know what the Venky's are up to with this move, so it's watch this space.

A friend of mine was in the police and he was once on duty at Ewood. He was walking along the pitch perimeter behind at the Blackburn end when the opposition scored. I think he might well have been disciplined for his reaction.

Re-watch the Danny Ings goal. Look in the corner between the riverside and Darwen ends. One of the many coppers clearly does a little jig as the ball hits the back of the net!

I'd gone on with Claretgimmer, back in the 70s. Just to take in a game. There was a stadium announcement requesting a persistent in the crowd to stop blowing a whistle. it continued. Eventually 4 cops carried this guy out of the town end and head for the tunnel. He's face down a cop on each limb and he's struggling away. They'd take about 5 steps, drop him on his head, kick him, then pick him up. This was repeated all the trip. Behind was a 5th cop casually swinging a whistle by it's cord.

I'm reliably informed that they'll sell everything then have to go into a ground-sharing deal with either Chorley or Darwen.

They'll only need a 10,000 capacity ground next season, and only then for big games against Rochdale and Oldham. In a year or two they could quite easily Ground share at Accrington.

If anyone has any sympathy for them, take a look at them now. They say they want the Venkys out but they've no intention of rebuilding under local ownership, living within their means and all that tedious stuff we had to do.
Nope, they want the Venkys out and then another billionaire foreign sugar daddy to come in. The last six years has taught them absolutely nothing. But still good fun watching them all desperately trying to pimp themselves to some bored sheikh or Chinese rich kid.

Red Bull will not be interested in coming into a club and clearing off a load of debt, its not what they do. They look for companies that are stable with potential that can be elevated quickly with solid investment. They aren't going to pay Uncle Jacks left over bills like them buffoons from India are doing.
