You have to wonder how thorough the fit and proper person test is if he's passed. He's under investigation for match fixing in Greece and has also been accused of bombing a referee's bakery?!

SSN reported that he had been under investigation for match fixing and that prevented the deal going through a year ago. But they've said he's clear now and has passed the owners test after meetings with the Football League.

It cant be much of a test considering some of the current owners in the FL.

The Football League got their courses mixed up and actually studied the 'Rehabilitation of Offenders Act' instead of 'How to stop potential rogue buying a Football Club'.

The fair and proper person test is a contradiction in terms considering some of the seriously questionable foriegn owners who get the nod.
Readings latest pair also were not allowed to buy the club one minute then oked the best.
