If the other 19 teams start on minus 30 points, I don't see why not.

Everything has to align, but it did for Leicester.

If we're talking my lifetime, I don't think so, but ever... anything could happen - so yes

In chance a not hell's cat.

Rearrange the above words to form a sensible answer.

Only if there becomes a European super league and the big boys join it.

Yes, football works in cycles.

Who knows how the future league will look?

All i can say is in 1991, playing in the first division was an absolutle "never happen" to far gone, football is going into the city's.

Never is a long time, but not in the current climate. To attain our position in the prem is truly a remarkable effort, and one which will be just as hard next year. I think we could stabilise ourselves as a premiership club, but win it....nah.

No reason why not. Look at our constant progress over the last 30 years. Look at Rovers regression. Look at Uniteds stagnation post fergie. Look how many and the size of clubs that have won the league since liverpool last won it. Look at the likes of swansea, hull, bournemouth even being in that league. Wigan winning the cup. City falling to the third tier and coming back as a world power. Chelsea winning the european cup and before Arsenal. Leicester winning the league. Leeds demise. Etc

This is all recent history.

Its unlikely but in football anything can and does happen.

If you were to chart our historical league position the trajectory would suggest we are getting closer every year.

Dare to dream.

We would have to sign 5 world beating unknowns though.

As soon as players have one good season in the prem big clubs come circling, they let you have one season with them to make sure they're cut out for the prem.

12 months if we sack Dyche and put KRBFC in charge with ABC as his assistant,, 12 months from now we will be unbeaten away and playing a brand of football that will make Barcelona envious..

Every 20 years or so, the big boys have a collective wobble and a small club, Blackburn for example, can nick the title.
Leicester did it because the big 5 or 6 clubs could not put together a run of wins to haul them in.
As for the Venkys fluke in '95, if Eric Cantona, had not attacked a fan, ManU would have walked it.

30 years ago actually being in the top league seemed like a pipe dream, more likely we would go out of existence. Know we have been in the top league for 3 years and set for another who knows?

Yes we could. It's just eleven blokes against eleven other blokes repeated 38 times.

However, the odds are against us (and realistically everyone outside the 'big' teams).
