Well, it's the position finished and the TV money. So we got more 'merit' money than Watford for finishing 1 place higher but they got more TV money. Similar case with Stoke getting less than Palace despite finishing a place higher.

The minimum for television is £13.6 million. That's the figure for ten appearances which is guaranteed even if you are on less than ten occasions (we were on ten times). Watford have obviously been shown on 12 occasions.

Liverpool had 29 live games out of their 38, not just the BBC who loves them it seems.

Not so much that there's a love in, but the big teams will obviously get more viewers.

We've earned 84.4+13.6=98 just from tv alone, that's huge money to us.
There is an additional 9.5 to add to that for our placing in the league. 107m before all other sources of revenue is simply fantastic money for a club like ours, I'm absolutely made up. Go on Burnley!

Does a second season in the top flight increase our bargaining power when discussing the various sponsorship deals for next season, or is such success not converted into an increase in revenue so quickly?
For instance, I think we got around 3m from dafabet last season, would it be unrealistic to expect 4m if they renew?
