Indian stone paving advice required
thinking of getting my front garden done...can anyone recommend best type to use...where to buy from locally...apparently some is porous and goes green....looking for minimal maintenance...if anyone can recommend a good layer as well...I have around 20 sq metres to do ...utc.

I'm a stonemacon but I'm not based in Burnley.
A quick check has told me that you can get what you're looking for for around £30 a m2
Make sure when you get a quote that they'll do the job right.
Properly dug out, wacked etc, and make sure it's a full bed under the slabs.

Bridge st - Colne Happy.. that's where I got mine from. Think all Indian stone is porous though. I can recommend a good builder/layer as well if u leave email?

I did mine recently. Did everything right, dug it out, proper base, all planned out and measured. To be fair, it looks spot on and you can't beat admiring your own work.
Downside, it took about 3 months longer than it would a pro.
