Trump pulls USA out of Paris climate deal
And America will eventually crumble into the sea as water levels rise from the very real threat of climate change.

Re: Trump pulls USA out of Paris climate deal
This isn't a pop at Trump, it's just an incredibly short sighted thing to do, in relation to the scale of risk associated with climate change.
Pulling out of this deal puts America on a small list of only 2 other countries, Nicaragua and Syria.
To pull out of the deal is not only not putting America first, it's also putting the Earth in jeopardy.

America joins forward thinkers Syria and Nicaragua as the only three countries not to uphold the Paris accord.

A dangerously stupid man committing dangerously stupid acts.
As well as agreeing to carry on destroying the planet to the point where the damage is irreversible, he's also turning the USA into a pariah state.

He claims to be supporting his country and its down trodden people, Corbyn is in a way proposing the same but it's arguable that Corbyn has supported our enemies, so do we just kill him if he gets elected.

Obama not happy. Is there a pun in there.
"Even in the absence of American leadership, even as this administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future, I'm confident that our states, cities and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help protect for future generations the one planet we've got,"

He also said he was going to target innocent families of terrorists (well, he said he should) so i trust you'll come to his defence against prosecutors in the hague with "God forbid a democratically elected leader actually did what he said he was going to do". I'd love to see how quickly they acquit him after you've said your piece.

Re: Trump pulls USA out of Paris climate deal
To be fair, does anyone trust the figures for emissions coming from Russia, China, India, or any one else, for that matter ?
Obama was clearly taken for a ride by this agreement. There's an easy way to reduce your carbon footprint, destroy your heavy manufacturing industry and export the jobs abroad. In part, it's worked for the UK. These manufacturing jobs are then created in Countries where Health and Safety, emissions monitoring and technological development are far below Western standards.
In Germany, they're building Coal fired power stations again as Merkl has deserted Nuclear and the VW/Audi group have been exposed as crooks over their emissions testing. The Uk has spent fortunes investing in Wind and Solar energy, but we're struggling to find anyone to build new Nuclear plants. Meanwhile, our future back-up power is to be provided by an arsenal of diesel generators !!

Out of interest did anyone hear the comments about how the US will still improve their industries, reducing emissions etc?
They weren't comments by Trump though.
Or aren't we allowed to talk about them?

Our climate as long been done for, tipping points are in place and the damage even at this stage is irreversible.
To little to late, as year on year dispite efforts carbon emissions are on the rise.

California and New York State (or City, not sure which) are going to still do their part to reduce carbon emissions but pulling out of the deal effectively gives free reign to carry on as normal if states so wish.

It's one thing that you can guarantee with Trump is that he or his advisers won't take any notice of what science tells them.

Nope. It's criticising the most advanced economy and country in the world for being literally as forward thinking as a country that is into a 7th year of a brutal civil war. That's not the same as criticising Syria. No one doesn't understand why Syria doesn't give a **** about the Paris accord and post #8 doesn't imply otherwise. Are you Sidney in disguise?
