Better than Messi in my book, wouldn't be surprised to see yet another hat-trick for Cristiano.

I mean Juve have won everything and it's all relative but to lose 5 European cup finals on the bounce is devastating.

This game shows just why midfield is the most important area.

Juve have by far the best keeper.
By far the best defence.
And while they arent quite the same level up top as Real they are still very good.
However the game has been won by the midfield. The only time Juve have had chance is the goal which was pumped forward. A very good goal, but Real have outclassed them in the middle.

If he's not getting sent off himself, Ramos is getting others sent off.

Ramos a bloody disgrace. Leaves a very bad taste I'm afraid.

Turned it off, fed up of the seemingly over indulgence in falling down water.

The Europa League sides tend to do well in it to be fair. I think there has probably been an equaal amount of winners from champions league as not.

Zidane already looking a better manager than Pep. I know they both inherited good sides. But Zidanes tactics are perfect every time. And to win the champions league back to back is some achievement.

Big decision not to play Bale tonight and it wasnt even a big deal for Zidane.

Good first half as it was a close game. Second half was disappointing as Juventus were very, very poor (or maybe Real Madrid were very good). That goal from Mandzukic was something special though.

Oh, and I think Ramos is a great player but I lost all respect for him today. Pathetic from him. They have to start introducing bans for blatant simulation. I remember when football was a sport for men. I wish that was still the case but unfortunately it's a pantomime now.

It takes more than that to assemble the squad - Zidane has used what was there and not really bought huge - James Rodriguez valued at £60m+ not even on the bench

Assembling the squad is one thing, managing them another altogether.

I read an article the other day in the Daily Mail about Zidane as manager.
He's making the big decisions look easy, like it doesn't bother him and he's possibly putting other managers noses out of joint being like this.

They also thought that Zidane won't suffer from the same burn out that Guardiola clearly did at Barca and its possibly because Zidane doesn't look like he's feeling the pressure.

The article also said that Zidane was the same as a player, didn't let the pressure get to him 99% of the time.

Ramos was a disgrace for the sending off..no surprises there.

- he wasn't the only one though...about 4 others stuck their hands in the air claiming 'something'.

Pathetic...in his many interviews to come I hope they all ask him exactly what he was doing.

Fat chance.
