Following a heavy defeat against Darwen in the T20 on Friday evening, Lowerhouse got back to winning ways at struggling Bacup this afternoon. Batting first, the House scored 300-5 with 3 players making half centuries.

Bacup's reply was interrupted by frequent downpours but they were never really at the races.

Saw the 2nd innings at Enfield yesterday. The home team's top order was blown away by Darwen quickie Reece Davies who took the first 6 wickets for 13 runs. I think he's the brother of Alex Davies, Lancashire's keeper. Tough task for Burnley today but they're improving and Chris Holt is in great form.
