"Enough is Enough" tough talking.
I see Teresa is talking tough.
"If we have to increase prison terms, then so be it".
erm... Teresa!
It may have escaped your attention, but just to inform you, I don't think that will deter them.
They seem quite willing to either blow themselves up or wear vests that ensure their deaths.
The threat of serving another year or two in prison really isn't going to work is it?
You might have to have a little re-think about what to do.
Is that really what came out of the COBRA meeting this morning?
Teresa, here is a radical idea for you;
Try killing them before they f***king kill us.
Stop pretending you are tough when we can all detect that quiver in your voice,
when you basically admit you haven't a clue what to do.
Where is Churchill now we need him again?

3,000 pose high risk to the public.
20,000 under surveillance.
18 terrorist attacks planned to cause mass murder, foiled in 4 years..
That's a scary number.
These people need dealing with before attacks. If you're on these lists, you've done or are doing something wrong.
It's disgusting that some people try and defend these people, and call for their freedom and rights to be upheld until a crime is commited.... yes let's wait until they commit mass murder of innocent people before blowing themselves up, before arresting them...
Oh wait.
Pro active , not reactive should be the motto. Kill or be killed it seems could be the answer here!

Cultivating an atmosphere through the use of terror where moderate Muslims are forced into making a dichotomous choice of siding with either country or God is LITERALLY a stated aim of ISIS. Every time people talk in terms of annihilation, ISIS and other Salafi jihadi groups move closer to achieving their end-goal.

Just as long as those that 'look a bit terroristy' don't have their human rights contravened.
3 plots thwarted between Westminster and Manchester.
Is that 8 we know of in 3 months, 3 of which have been successful.

I am of the opinion all police officers receive training in the use of firearms. They should then carry firearms in public like their European counterparts do.
That'll do for starters.

They'll be uproar when John Smith was only carrying a back pack with nails in as a prank. The lovely lad taken too soon, when 8 years in jail would have been better.

Macca, you talk as if there will be shootings willy-nilly. This clearly does not happen in France, Spain etc. Your comment is flawed.

Actually, according to the BBC tonight:ThinLizzy wrote:Be careful what you wish for Bee Holed. If Corbyn gets in. He'll let more terrorists in and opposes shoot to kill. He'd rather the police disarm terrorists with poetry and flowers.
{Mr Corbyn restarted Labour's campaigning in a speech in Carlisle, in which he attacked the Conservatives' record in government and called for action to tackle extremism.
He pledged "whatever action is necessary and effective" to protect people.
"That includes full authority for the police to use whatever force is necessary to protect and save life as they did last night, as they did in Westminster in March," he said.
"You cannot protect the public on the cheap. The police and security services must get the resources they need, not 20,000 police cuts.
"Theresa May was warned by the Police Federation but she accused them of "crying wolf"."}

But the head in Sanders will argue "you can't go round shooting people willy nilly when you feel like it" obviously its not like that , but as soon as 1 is shot proventing mass murder uproar will occur.
We are only meant to act when it's too late so we don't offend these groups, who in the end die anyway more often than not..

Amazing what he'll say to try win those extra votes..........
He pledged "whatever action is necessary and effective" to protect people ......... a contradiction to his grilling over pushing the "red button" to protect Britain on Friday evening
and after he's in office I can see it going a little like this.....
Assistant "Mr Corbyn, there are reports of men with knives attacking innocent members of the public at London Bridge"
Corbyn "Is this true or just hearsay?"
Assistant "It's true, we've just heard from an officer at the scene asking for immediate armed support"
Corbyn "Are you sure, what evidence do you have other than from one person"
Assistant "It's all over the news streams and social media"
Corbyn "OK get my car, I'll nip over and try reason with those responsible"
Assistant "But Mr Corbyn, the longer it is before we deploy armed officers, the more innocent Human lives are lost"
Corbyn "Aggression must be a last resort, I firmly believe dialogue is the way to disarm these individuals"

Re: "Enough is Enough" tough talking.
Stopping the people returning from playing war games with Dahesh would have been a positive start.
Just letting them return to their day jobs with impunity was never a solution.
Targetting hate preachers and deporting them failed miserably under Teresa's watch.
She needed to ignore the bleeding heart liberals and clamp down on several of the mosques where these ideologies are perpetuated.
Sorry but moderate Muslims now need to step up and denounce any extremists reporting them to the police.

"Theresa May was warned two years ago that cuts to policing were putting Manchester and national security at risk.
In a face-to-face meeting an award-winning Manchester police officer Mrs May was told that Tory cuts to community policing left officers without the intelligence that was needed to keep the city safe from a terrorist attack.
Inspector Damian O’Reilly was named Britain’s community policeman of the year in 2010, but quit his dream role after he could no longer stomach the affect of government policy."

It's not delusional. You only have to listen to that creepy Seamus Milne's leaked conversation with Corbyn to see that he will just say anything to get votes. Milne says, in regard, to Trident, that he thought that he, Corbyn, managed to get through the questioning well enough without revealing his true thoughts on the matter.wickdkewlclaret wrote:Someone has a delluded imagination then. Funny how he comes out on top of fact finding counts in debates, but let's get back to the point.
You guys want swift action on terrorists (as we all do) and yet you support a prime minister who is weakening the very protection our country and people rely on.
Making 20,000 in police cuts only adds to the degradation of our protection. And you support that.
Not for me. The interests of the people must come first, before the interest of big business.

Anthropology is the scientific study of human life.
1. Stress the anthropology of religion as a circumstantial construct i.e. if you live in a desert and cosmology appears to you as that, then you're more likely to have a religion that's arid. Hinduism is a jungle religion etc. I'm not an expert on the subject, it's a bit like the geologist Ian Stewart going on about why Egyptian temples are different to Greek ones- they had different materials to work with, which could only produce different outcomes.
2. Epistemology is the theory of knowledge, how knowledge is gained, transmitted etc.
3. Philosophy (from Greek φιλοσοφία, philosophia, literally "love of wisdom") is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language.

If you believe what you just posted you really need to check his links to the Middle East, it will make uncomfortable reading especially if you actually check what happened at Munich.
As I said politically dodgy but the rest, check it out and perhaps you might have a different opinion.

Blue, nice of you to pop in.
Just a quick heads up, I was doing a quick google search on something to do with British involvement in Iraq/Iran in the last century.
About the sixth hit was something by some sort of Jewish religous group that claimed something was true that most definitely isn't in relation to that.
All I'm saying is that there is a lot of **** online if you don't know anything about the subject to start with.

There is a report being put together on how terrorism is being funded. I think most will agree that understanding where the funds come from will give us a better opportunity to follow up the chain and arrest (or at least identify) where the money is coming from and deal with the problem more effectively. Sadly it is being said that Theresa May is trying to suppress the report because it is too delicate in nature. Possibly it fingers the blame on her good friends, the Saudis.
