Good lad, it's been great to hear about 'normal', Joe Public -types stepping up and fighting back against these cowardly ****. I'd like to think I'd do the same but I'd need a few pints in me first

There is so much humour in that story, especially his mates buying him a copy of Runners World.
Underneath the story is a real hero, someone many people would hope they could emulate given the same situation. He really does need to be recognised for his selfless action and bravery.

I've read that people are saying he should be awarded the George Cross.

The independent now trying to describe the lad as a hero.
They previously described people like him as "knuckle draggers" "beer swilling racists" "white van man".
Isn't it funny when the dwellers of the metropolitan London borough of ivory towers see islamic terrorism washing up on their doorstep their full of fake praise for people they'd sneered at, and looked down their politically correct noses.
Hypocrisy at it's finest.
Good on the millwall fan though.

Bloody knuckle dragging racist. The human rights of those 3 followers of the religion of peace were quite clearly violated.
Lock the Nazi up and throw away the key.
And definitely no candle lit vigils for him.
People like him will never divide our community!

This bloke was absolutely brilliant.
The unfortunate thing is, had this bloke travelled to a football match abroad he would probably come under more police scrutiny than a jihadi travelling to Syria/Lybia/Iraq and back.

Give yourself a day off Ringo FFS
Good on the guy having a go, I am sure we'd all like to think we'd react in the same way when confronted with a knife weilding terrorist scumbag, it's another thing to actually do it.

He'll probably get done for football hooliganism for mentioning Millwall and banned from football stadiums

He deserves some form of recognition the time he kept them embroiled with him, is time they didn't have killing some other poor innocent person, the nurse who went to help people who were injured and lost her life should also be honoured as well as anybody else who fought back against these shits, myself after they had been shot I would have hung there corpses off London bridge for the crows to pick at, if they act like they live in the dark ages they should be treated like it.

Agree. A lot of heroes on Saturday night. Saddening for the people who have lost their lives. Great that a few were able to fight back and reduce the harm to everyone else.

I'd go to war in my Burnley shirt and take all comers...err.... apart from running for my life across the pitch to get away from Celtic supporters.
