Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Will Dyche get a rousing reception from the Turf fans or dogs abuse when he brings his Palace side to the Turf next season?

Of course he will #legend..Steve1956 wrote:Will Dyche get a rousing reception from the Turf fans or dogs abuse when he brings his Palace side to the Turf next season?
Re: Dyche ------->Palace
There are loads of rumours that Palace are about to appoint Dyche, but there are no rumours that they might ask permission to talk to him. Isn't that a bit contradictory?

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Palace don't need Dyche, with their backers. Palace need an Italian or Spaniard who has experience and plays free, fast flowing football. They have had 3English managers and I honestly think they won't want Dyche. The Palace fans would be very disappointed, I would imagine if Dyche was appointed.
Appointing Dyche would be like being invited out to dinner, looking forward to it and ending up at macdonalds..
Dyche is still cutting his cloth and he should stay put

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Would Palace be much of a step up for Dyche?. He knows he'll never be sacked by Burnley but if things don't go well at Palace he could be out before the seasons over.
Re: Dyche ------->Palace
He hasn't gone yet. Bookies are like sheep, one slashes the odds and the rest follow. No need for panic yet.
I'll be honest if he does go I won't be happy and it won't be with my blessing. I appreciate all he's done for the club but I don't think his job is finished yet and he's still under contract.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Obviously don't want him to go but would not be totally surprised if he did.
He'd get a bigger wage at Palace a bigger budget a slightly better squad of players and a new challenge
Also he's spent a lot of time away from his family in the last almost 5 years whereas he and his Family are living in Northampton right now so all he'll have to do would be jump on the train there and go to work every workday and be back home with his Family every night.

If he's oblivious to the speculation the first thing he needs to do on returning from his holiday is sack his agent.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Have you never heard there is no such thing as bad publicity. Why would his agent want to damp down rumours, that keep his client in the papers everyday.
I still don't think SD will go, why would he, but I was wrong about Judas going so who knows.
I think much as Joey regretted going to Rangers, Sean would quickly realise he jumped too early.
He would still be a legend though, and go with my best wishes.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
I don't think his leaving now would be as harmful as when Coyle buggered off.
We're a much more attractive job opportunity now then we used to be.
Good squad, facilities and some cash in the bank.
If he went then fair enough, personally I wouldn't begrudge him trying to better himself.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Just a little update, spoke to my man in the know at palace, he thinks the bookies are just reading to much in to paper story's and message boards, as I told you, Palace have not even spoken to Dyche, so where these story's and bookies odds are coming from is anyone's guess. Pellergrino will be announced as our manager by Monday at the latest. Stop worrying you're Sean ain't going anywhere.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Is SD really on holiday right now?
I have been amazed at the oddschecker prices but if SD is how out of the country, or at least out of circulation, how on earth do Palace seem believe he is about to turn up there for an interview? Surely BFC could issue some short statement to put this nonsense to bed.
Unless of course some punters know more than we do.
And it is not nonsense at all.

Of course it's nonsense, but sometimes issuing denials can conversely make a story sound more plausible. Silence and disdain is sometimes best.

We all know it's not a forever story, but it's not about to end with SD going off to Palace this summer. (Unless it's Buckingham to collect his knighthood!) He will go at some point and he will deservedly go to a much bigger (and lucrative) project, but without intending to disrespect Palace or their fans who are posting on here in good faith and peace right now, he ain't going there anytime soon.
