For me it's really down to whether we get Joe Ledley with a beard. He's a much better player when he's got a beard.

He played a decent game v Serbia but I would still not sign him. Not good enough for Palace and certainly not good enough for us.Too slow and we have enough players who like to slow things down

Almost 200 top flight games here and in scotland. Champions league experience. 70 odd international caps and still a regular first choice at 30. Playing alongside the likes of Ramsey, Bale and Allen. Playing style fits ours perfectly. Why wouldnt we sign him?

With no Marney or Barton we need a wiley old head in there, to add some premier league experience IMO.

Even if it's only for 2 years, he will certainly improve the squad, which is what we need to do.
I'd certainly swap him for Arfield for 2 seasons, which is what you could do with Scott's wages plus any fee.

I thought that when we were linked with him previously his wage demands were sky high? Admittedly, they might be lower if he's been released but still...
