If we get anywhere near our money back (£600k reported at Chesterfield's end, plus the add-on we paid upon promotion), we've played a blinder.

Call me bitter but I say we should play hardball for him with Forest, just so they know how it feels

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Same here...whatever people think of his 'defensive qualities' he has alot of positive attributes that, after a good start, were never developed...ie his ability to go forward, take men on & beat them

I know it's moaning again, but I'm starting to get concerned about our lack of exciting players.
I honestly think there is one player in our squad that actually gets the pulse rating (Defour).

I know what your saying NC but i'm afraid at this level it has to safety first with "excitement" coming way down the list.

No I fully appreciate that.
I just hope we can build on the solid foundations we are making.

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Gudmundsson I would class as an exciting player. He's got pace, skill and isn't averse to taking a man on. Keep him fit and he'll do well this year.
Brady has a great delivery on him. He'll make any set piece more exciting.

Imagine moaning at almost every signing we make and then moaning at selling to Darikwa while getting money for him

I guess that finally brings to an end some people's dream of him playing right wing. Phew.

Confirmed.
Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Good luck to him. Hope he gets a proper chance to develop his career.
A skillful player with a lot of ability in my opinion. Certainly has the potential to be a good Championship player.

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Was not going to dislodge Lowton sadly. Also I think there is a good player in there but with the way we play and being on back foot so much I think it would be hard for a player like him to come in for a game or two and settle straight in and make an impact. Bardsley is a player who can come in, cover well and make the switch seamless.
Good luck to the lad and like meantioned above would be nice if we had a buyback clause though I doubt it, but should have a sell on fee.

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Never let us down. Good player who had more good attributes than bad. Shows how far we have come (and how little our fans have changed) when a player like Darikwa gets slaughtered.

Good business for us and a good move for him. He was never good enough for us, but now has the chance to make his mark at a below average championship club

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Not sad to see him go, had pace but was defensively suspect to say the least.
Lower mid table Championship is his level so wish him well but i for one am glad he is no longer cover for Lowton.

Re: Darikwa to Forrest?
Good luck to him, not done bad for a bench warmer...a decent share of knocking on 15milllion in bonuses for promotion and staying up.

I'm sad to see him go, I really thought he had a big future in front of him. Sadly if he has its with somebody else.
Good luck Tendy, I hope you shine.

I reckon Darikwa will come good. Unfortunately, he doesn't suit how we want to play football at this moment in time.
Good luck to the lad.
