How Many Contributors Are Under the Age of 25?

I'd like to see a head count, just to know that the grand traditions of this club are being carried on. That's under the AGE of 25, not I.Q. of 25. So that leaves you out Saxoman and KRBFC.

It's important we instill into the mindset of our younger generation. The utter despair, dejection and borderline suicidal tendencies us older folk and supporters of our club had to suffer through. Let's be having you lads and lasses. What he's asking is. Which of you are plastics?! :lol

I'm 25 on the dot and I confess I've not lived to see the really bad or the really good, various videos and long converstaions aside. I'm no less a claret than Bertie though, can't help when you were born, but you sure as hell can help who you support.

Some posters will never achieve a mental age of 16 however old in years they actually are now.

Some know it and they love it and push it on UTC.
Sadly some others just will never know they are lacking however old they may make it.

Served my apprenticeship during the Cotterill years and now looking forward to a fourth PL season in 11 years of being a season ticker holder.

Although I'm told things in the garden haven't always been rosy?

24, will be hitting the big 2-5 in September.

Started watching towards the back end of the promotion in 2000. Remember being heartbroken when we missed the play offs in 2002 but compared to the heartache I now know of for the older generation fans us youngsters have got off lightly so far!

It's a shame that we appear to have so few really young posters. When I first joined the old CM board many years ago there were lots of youngsters in their mid-teens. One of them was MDWat who is still active on here. He was 15 at that time and was more than helpful to an old woman who was computer illiterate.

Another who still posts on here occasionally was daveisaclaret. I think he was only 14.

What has happened to people like forcaburnley whose passion in life was fishing, or Hendy (HenDee - remember him,
CT?)?

Then there was the lass whose name I have forgotten who used to engage us in her homework problems.

It was fun having a number of really young posters on the board. It gave a different perspective.

I am a little over 25, BTW.

Like Spades, I'm a little over 25 (a good way of putting it). MDWat was a youngster back then, he's just childish now.

Hendy - I'll take the credit for the different spelling. He one started a post asking what the HD stood for with televisions and I replied Hen Dee. I've not seen him around in a long time and Cloughfold has now grown up and is working in football as a coach.

I was chatting to forcaburnley at shamrock. He's still about although not sure if he's about on here these days. I joined claretsmad when I was 17.

Yeah we lost 0-5 to Gillingham, 0-6 to Man City and then lost 0-1 at home to Preston in consecutive games on the bounce.

Kurt Nogan scored the winner for Preston. Taylor got all five for Gillingham and Goater got a hat trick for City.

distortiondave is another missing from that era (don't think he was a youngster though) didn't he used to seek help with his crossword from you

distortion was only in his 20's, I think. I miss him on here because I enjoyed his 'distorted' sense of humour.
