Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
I've not said anything about changing arrangements to how they have been sold. Regular updates, like many clubs do, would be fairly useful to supporters in hurrying them along in buying them before missing out. That may well be their own fault but I just think it's something the club should do as they have done in the past.dsr wrote:5,000 Burnley fans have got tickets. There's really no need to change the arrangements to take the tickets off some of those fans, in order to give them to people who weren't so bothered about going.
Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Wait, have the tickets all gone? When did they even go on sale? That fkn blows, was gonna attend. Please tell me I missed out to a bunch of non st holders?
Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
The bus thing is an absolute farce, my late uncle lived in Blackburn so had to travel to Burnley to get a bus back to Blackburn. Does any other rivalry get this treatment?
Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
It might. But who's missed out? The people that weren't bothered enough to make it a priority. Who's got tickets? The people that were bothered enough. It's been a level playing field. Regular updates might be of interest, but they wouldn't help in ensuring that the keenest fans get the tickets.burnmark wrote:I've not said anything about changing arrangements to how they have been sold. Was there even a restriction on buying? Was it one per ST holder? I'll feel a whole lot better about missing out if so.

I think many that missed out were the doom mongers or their willing or unwitting disciples, that feared being amongst a sparse Couple of thousand 'muppets' as South West Clarets labelled ticket buyers and be subjected to an Accy style embarrassment.dsr wrote:It might. All of a sudden they are missing out and like my missus who doesn't buy something on offer cheap for fear it's rubbish and then is all shocked when they sell out and berates them for them not getting more of the once only end of line offer.

I remember having to watch the blake goal game in a pub in town and the atmosphere there was even brilliant - if you cant get up for this game in either tier then it's a massive shame.

I believe their online ticket sales has been down since early last week - they haven't put a notice on the website to let people know though the ticket office are fully aware - bizarre - you would think they need the money - given their debt, FFP in league one etc.

With Legzdins, Anderson, Ulvestad and Agyei all playing for the U23's today, it seems unlikely any of them will be involved on Wednesday.
