Great tonight and great back up as 4th choice but still could do with another winger to challenge JBG for a starting place

I thought his running into the hole caused them nightmares. Very intelligent football from him in that 1st half. He showed real quality tonight

He'd a very good game tonight.
Particularly first period.

So did Brady.
We'll up for it.

Arfield knows the score about this fixture. He played with quite some intensity, verve, and elan tonight.
A modern day Claret Hero.

I watched on a stream so can only comment on his use of the football, which was at best sub standard, and definitely not premier league quality.

Brady right, Scotty left for me on Sunday. JBG hasn't been at it first two games.

Took a long time to leave the pitch and seemed to be savouring the atmosphere, constant clapping to the crowd. We have seen this happen before a player leaves a club he loves, not sure if there was anything in it but it did seem a little poignant.

He played well last night but still struggles to win over some of the travelling support.

His movement with and without the ball was very good, but his final pass let him and us down so many times.

I was at a different game then., or people are easily pleased.
Some patches of great play, but far too slow against weak opposition.
If he plays many PL games we are struggling.
Cork and Taylor the real stand out performers.

I thought for the first 10 minutes we were waiting for somebody to stand up and take the game to them, Scotty took his opportunity by using the ball intelligently on a couple of occasions early on instead of using it as a hot potato.
Played well last night & as ever, gave his all.

I'd take him, every time, instead of JBG, at the moment.

Great championship player is Arfield, doesn't cut it in the Prem but he's useful to have to run around and pressure in some games. I have a theory that he will run down his contract and sign for Vancouver in the summer.
