It was reported that Watford have a wage cap at £50K per week. Bonus payments are over and above of course.

They have an enormous squad and have been linked with a winger and Kieran Gibbs this morning. Somebody will be leaving.

Re: Troy Deeney to Burnley
Had we not got Wood then this is the type of player Id have fancied to challenge Vokes for a place in the 4-5-1 formation and able to play with any of the other three strikers in a 4-4-2
Now we have Wood we need some with a bit more zip and trickery like we had with Ings a few years back

Re: Troy Deeney to Burnley
We don't need this type of signing now.
It will not be happening.
- typed while looking hopefully into the middle distance, looking for a young tough decent centre back from the Championship, walking this way.

Re: Troy Deeney to Burnley
Gray was substituted by Deeney, as the commentator said, to bring on an intelligent attacker
to hold the ball up.
To be fair, he had done the square root of feck all again.

I heard that WBA were interested in him but this was before they signed Jay Rod.

So the OP is the same marlonspants who was ostracised on the old forum for making up one of the worst rumours (can't for the life of me remember who or what it was though) and we are expected to take note... nah, not for me
