Will probably need time to adjust to the pace of the PL and our style of play too of course but some of those offsides have been very frustrating.ElectroClaret wrote:Yes. Very early days.

Re: FAO Chris Wood
Was thinking Barnes and wood missed 5-6 half chances between them that vokes would have buried at least one of them and why on earth did he come off but what do I know haha
Brady was superb and after the double sub the game opened up and we actually looked dangerous going forward
4-4-2 for me looking forwards

Re: FAO Chris Wood
Difference in Wood and Grays positioning for me today was a feeling that Wood would keep doing it and get through at some point (similar to a Vardy type run). He'll get a lot of offsides with how he was running but thats the sort of run that will always keep a defensive line thinking as the 1 time they lose concentration ... He'll be through.
Will also push defences back a little and let us use our midfield to more effect..... Some hood hold up play too from the lad - I know midweek was against lower league opposition but his movement is very good to get into the right place (even if it's a little too quick at times) and it's usually in the blind spots of the defense he operates.
Good things to come from this lad - he'll bag 15+ this season.

I think he's going to have a great season! He suits us more than Gray (early days I know).

I've just woken up a kiwi mate who's moved back to Christchurch. I think it's about 5 in the morning there, or so he said.
Anyway, it was important I told him how much I love his fellow countrymen.
