I agree with you, but it still doesn't mean that his views are representative of the club or the fanbase as a whole. e.g. I would describe Stan Ternent as Claret through and through, but I don't always align myself with his views.kentonclaret wrote:Alan Pardew, just like Steve Parrish, is Crystal Palace through and through. He was part of Fifa's technical study group too.
Regardless of his ability as an international coach, he's well respected within the game even if fans don't rate him.

Alan Pardews not up to premier league standard. Thats why he hasnt got a job.kentonclaret wrote:After listening to the pre match comments from Alan Pardew on Sky "that Turf Moor was not really up to Premier League standard" and "that the dressing rooms at Burnley were like asking players to get changed in a cupboard" I was so glad that we beat them. I couldn't care less that they have sacked De Boer and now asked Roy Hodgson to take over at their deluded little club.

Re: De Boer sacked
Fdb was awful at inter Milan and quickly dismissed. Writing was on the wall with a poor start in English football too. Fdb may have been a success in dutch football, but so was Steve McLaren.

Re: De Boer sacked
It wasn't the Clarets that got De Boer sacked but have we been involved in other matches when the opposition manager was sacked immediately after his team had played us. I have a feeling we might have but can't remember who it was or which team ????

A nice big hog´s hair brush costs nearly fifty quid because ordinarily the Chinese can´t afford to let one live so long for its hair to grow long enough because the folk can´t wait that long for its meat.

I was wondering that. The 4-1 win at Norwich with Steve Cotterill comes to mind leading to Nigel Worthington's departure.chorleyhere wrote:It wasn't the Clarets that got De Boer sacked but have we been involved in other matches when the opposition manager was sacked immediately after his team had played us. Re: De Boer sacked
Even discounting caretakers, Hodgson makes 25 managers in less than 25 years.
