What a save! Peter Schmeichel just tweeted saying the best save of the season so far.

No that's a step to far look at oc. I think I will browse the goalkeeping thred there was a fair few doubters and full nappies on there!

"Doing a number" on Liverpool is a comment to be taken as praise. We've gone there to face all that rah-rah before the game, a backlash from their Champs League game, a team worth Christ knows what and we've come away with a deserved point.

I have no understanding of the roles and responsibilities but Billy Mercer deserves a lot of credit. We've had a fabulous battalion of quality keepers for a good while now.

I met Nick Pope at Bradford last season and he was a gent. Well done Nick - proud to be a Claret.

UTC!

The unfortunate injury to Heaton got me really down this week. I think all Burnley fans can sleep tonight in the knowledge of whoever we play this young lad won't let us down, Praise should go out to Billy Mercer the coach for giving him the confidence

Never had any doubts, we are blessed with our present squad, and the coaching team behind them.
I've been telling people at work all week, that we will survive the loss of Heats. Pope had just been waiting for a chance. Now they all know it was true.

Very impressed- looked confident, tidy and pulled off a couple of stunning saves. Like others have said, Billy Mercer obviously doing a fine job. We're the epitome of a well run club.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if both Heaton and Pope were two of England's goalies at the world cup in Russia this summer?

Yes it would. But that won't happen. Heaton although more than good enough won't make it due to the England manager being a complete and utter *******, and pope won't make it due to him not being good enough.

Other than that, bob on.
