score prediction versus everton

Post by Wile E Coyote » Thu Sep 28, 2017 11:57 pm

I initially thought everton were going to be in with a chance of winning the league this season, as it stands they are not good enough.
Still potentially dangerous though, anyway I can see us nicking this one by a slight margin
0-5 Burnley win, hat trick for wood and two long range efforts from pope.

Fell asleep watching them last night. They look down on confidence. 2-1 to Burnley.

I really fancy this fixture for a couple of goals for Burnley. Think Wood on the break and Brady with a set piece. I think the all important first goal going our way will be a must though. 1-2 Burnley.

If we can score first their fans could quickly turn, think we'll get a 1-1 about time we got something from Goodison in the Premier League.

Handle Niasse properly and we should get something. Score first and we're in with a real chance - would happily settle for 1-1 though. Wood to score.

Got the last away prediction horribly wrong... so more of the same from me

3 stretches of the onion bag for Everton, and 0 for the Clarets

Niasse was probably a flash in the pan job, cant see him doing anything else this season.

I remember reading stats that Everton's performance immediately following a Europa game, is often worse than the rest of their games. So I hope that'll help us a bit.

I'll go for a well fought 1-1.

Gotta be realistic with this one.

3-0 to the mighty Clarets. Goals courtesy of Wood, Cork and Arfield. Rooney red card (51st minute) for fighting with Keane.

It is a measure of our progression, that we can now go to places like Everton, and realistically expect a result, doesn't mean we will get one,but just the fact that most people are predicting we will come away with something speaks volumes.

If we'd played really well last week and still drawn 0-0, I would have been a lot happier.
I just hope we put in a good performance akin to the previous away games.
If we do that, and gain a point, I'll be more than happy.

Where are these goals for us coming from? We've scored 3 in the last 5 games.

Clarets to lead but be pegged back to a respectable score draw. 2 a piece.

Id take that now.

Ah right, he's got a point lads.

May as well go home now, not bother watching any of the rest of the games and await relegation.

The goals ain't coming...

We look good away, they look awful at home. We are fresh, they'll be a little tired from Thursday.
The crowd will get on their back, Jon Moss will play his part

Everton 2 Burnley 0

Clueless Ronald survives another month.

Would be very happy with a draw, probably 1-1. However, we will lose away eventually and I can see this being 2-1 to Everton

I agree with Tonbridge if the team play like they did against Huddersfield. We should have mauled Huddersfield but sat off and pussy-footed around. You never know, I'll say 0-1 rare Lowton goal.

a normal everton side would probably be dangerous at goodison, but this lot have been dire. we on the other hand have been good away, no time like the present to cash in on our away form and humiliate them. be good to remind keane of what he left us for too.

Three two win away at stamford bridge.
Ones each away to spurs.
Ones each away at anfield.
Gives me confidence we can do a job on the toffees today, three one, another away win to put us on 12 points from 7.

I'm surprised how poor Everton were, could just be a confidence issue, their support didn't help them whatsoever, normally Goodison is one of the more atmospheric venues, yet it was like a church today,on that performance Everton might need a prayer or two to survive a relegation battle, the worry for them is have they get the stomach for such a battle.

we beat them with THE classiest of team goals, not the 5-0 i predicted, but a stunning goal to win it. Everton will rally soon, no way are they going down. Koeman , given time will have them back on track.
