Another fantastic result at Southampton - adding to the great start to the season. Not had much TV coverage here in Van Diemen's Land this last 2 seasons (no Fox coverage) but have kept in touch with the goals thread. It's funny how, even at my age (75) and being so far away, one still gets a buzz when seeing and reading about the good things - and results - about our great club. Just a quick mention about this season's strip, which, I think, is fantastic. Great to see us getting away from the 'Bombay Bloomers' and, hopefully, not following the stupid trend of socks over the knees and gloves - like a lot of the Johnny Foreigners. Could never see the 'Bedlington Terrier' ploughing through the mud on a freezing February night at the turf dressed like that! UTC - and on we go!
