Chris played well when he came on. I haven't seen him take a long range free kick for us - normally Brady's job - but it was a good one that had the Peru keeper scuttling to push around the post. He also had a couple of knockdowns after easily beating Peru's smallish defenders that weren't capitalized on.
Peru were clearly rattled by his presence. I just hope they don't go out to nail him in the game in Lima.

Got to meet him before the game on Saturday. Very polite young chap. The way they set out really needs a big guy up front as an outlet and to hold the ball up. He’s vital for the All Whites.
