Nothing we don't know but nice to see others are realising just what a turnaround there has actually been. Well deserved credit for an amazing journey

Didn't realise before ( haven't checked but assume it's true) that Burnley has the only combination of a British manager and chairman in the prem.

The article says English owner/manager combo.

Moyes is Scottish so that's West Ham out, and as the article was written ahead of the Arsenal game, Allardyce hadn't been appointed by Everton then, and their owner, Moshiri, was born in Iran and is resident in Monaco.

Excellent article. We are even playing better football now, and our away form is magnificent. Soon there will be nothing left for the doommongers to moan about.

When the decent results are coming in, there are always a few punters who disappear off here.

It does annoy me a little, because otherwise they post on here and generally churn out negativity, bad news stories, and take the general mood down.

Stay away completely, you know who you are.

Are you sure ?

Stoke ?
Palace ?
West Ham ?
Swansea ?

Worryingly that list currently represents 4 out of the bottom 5. In the face of statistics like this we need to get rid of Dyche immediately and appoint maybe Di Canio to bring some stability to our club.

Good article but I can't agree with that title "the burnley miracle"

It isn't a miracle. It's been bloody graft for everybody involved.

To be fair to the author of the piece, he does start with "Sound planning, hard work and a community ethos have put 'plucky' Burnley among the Premier League's elite..."

Long may it continue - Up the Clarets!!

Get off the train at Burnley’s Manchester Road station on a matchday. You’ll be carried along with the crowds, up the ramp, and then take a left.

Go downhill past the Weavers’ Triangle visitor centre and, at the next junction, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Vogue nightclub currently embroiled in an unlikely legal dispute with some old magazine of the same name in America.

Once you get to the heavily reconstructed square in front of the Charter Walk Shopping Centre, hang a right.

He made that more complicated than it should be - could have just gone down Centenary Way

Good article though. I'm really enjoying reading these "random" pieces about us, that for once are praising us as opposed to calling us "lucky"

Thought this was going to be about a wallet being found and returned to its owner in Burnley Wood.

The post I referenced said "chairmen" (not owners) and British.
Last time I checked Wales and Scotland were still in GB - unless I have missed a couple of referendums !!

I mentioned that in a post I started earlier Hampstead,it got deleted, I agree they do go missing when we are doing well,as Hampstead says you know who you are ....stay away we don't need your negativity. ;)

Excellent read. Makes me think when I look back over the last 40 years, realise where we were then and what the club has been through on and off the pitch. We nearly went out of the league in the 80s and not to long ago in 2008 the club was near to administration.

The club is moving from strength to strength in all departments. We are now established playing in the best league in the world
and with the present set up we should be in this position for years to come. New training facility and on going improvements to Turf Moor.

I have been following the clarets home and away since the late 60s. I can honestly say that the future of the club has never been in better hands, long may it continue

Being a bit pedantic but I would have thought this way was the quicker route. :P
Taken from the Football Ground Guide site

Manchester Road Station

Upon leaving the station cross the main road towards the cinema. The ground should be clearly visible in the distance straight ahead. Turn left and progress down "Centenary Way" an unmissable dual carriageway (A682) going downhill towards the ground. A few minutes walk down this road will bring you to a roundabout where you should turn right under the canal bridge into Yorkshire Street (A671). Continue down this road and you will reach Turf Moor on your left, with the away stand the first to be reached.

The reason I don't post any more Hampstead is censorship pure and simple. Something you liberals seem to share in common with your Marxist allies.
As for the side, doing exactly what I believed we could do last year if we played 5 in midfield away from home.
Now a better side and playing with purpose and some style. Long may it last.

Nah! The reason you don't post all that much is because you're mainly posting as Wile E Coyote, these days.
