Anyone been to check

That the undersoil heating is on?

Don't want a frozen pitch stopping us playing tomorrow.

It's on a thermostat, so is automatic. ;)

It won't be a pitch problem, it'll be them health and safety sandal wearers making the decision that we're all too stupid to be able to walk carefully to the match.

Undersoil heating, i love those words, reminds me of days gone by. Is there any soil at all in our pitch or is it just sand based?

Hope the undersoil heating doesn’t burn the plastic in the pitch

It's not easy walking in snow wearing sandals you know.

Do the club gave contingency plans such as mechanical shovel hire for outside the ground and people with shovels for internal walkways? If not it should have . Bet they don't. To call a match off when the pitch is fit is inexcusable other than for strong winds in this day and age.

Nanny state I'm afraid. It seems that today the populace are deemed incapable of judging
whether and how they can safely walk on snow and ice.

Do M and S, Boots etc close their doors when it snows ? Do they eckers like.
