Some good but overall a bit sloppy, or should that be slippy?
Pity about Wardy but looking at the table this is a good opportunity for Chas.

Someone spiked the lucozade pre match, sure of it. They look like they're on acid or something. Oranges all round at ht.

I guess it shows what great business has been done over the past few windows: Tarks - performing as reliably as Michael Keane; Nick Pope, again, as reliable as Tom Heaton; Phil Bardsley done well replacing Matt Lowton; Charles Taylor's opportunity tonight.

And, I'm pleased that we've kept Kevin Long in the squad.

But, let's get Ben Mee back on Saturday.

UTC

Let's have a great second half.

After the weekend and the train incident Stoke were always going to come out strong - we just had to absorb it, for all their endeavour and some decent approach play (Zouma played an incredible cross field ball) their opportunities have been poor.

Yes our passing has been below par but we were definitely taking charge and they look nervous with our speedy counter. Can see us going 442 at 65 if still level

The Russian commentator I'm listening to is confusing the hell out of me.... Still, forces me to concentrate on who has actually got the ball.

I said on Saturday and on plenty of other occasions this season that Wood needs to watch how Barnes plays. For someone as big a lad as Wood is he isn't anywhere near aggressive enough.

Id swap him for Barnes and I guarantee we get a lot more joy, the ref gives free kicks for pushes more often than not and Shawrcoss does it pretty much every time
