Played it safe after sliding my Mini Cooper into a dry stone wall, and got a Polo. Only do about 5000 miles a year in it so happy with something proper basic.

Wasn't pleased the other month when the ECU died and had to be rebuilt, but otherwise it drives great and will last me a long time yet.

Other half has inherited a bigger car we use for family stuff, which has satiated my desire to just get a 3 series or something. Getting to the point in life when an estate becomes appealing too!

That mysteriously named Kia C'eed. They asked this once on Top Gear, why the apostrophe? Been a good car though, bought it new 7 years ago and no real problems to speak of.
Hang on, I lie. The timing chain went on it at 56k miles, which is virtually impossible. That's about 30k less than it should have lasted I think.

09 plate Corsa.

Just picked it up this morning, after failed attempts at driving 2 x Astras, 3 x Clio's and 1 x Peugeot 106.

Hopefully this car is a keeper.
