Song for Nkoudou

Post by cricketfieldclarets » Fri Jan 12, 2018 5:03 pm

Nkodou dou dou to Gudmundsson back to Mee
Nkodou dou dou to Gudmundsson back to Mee
To Defour to Jack Cork knock it around and then to Vokes
To Matt Lowton on the right who'll set up our Ashley...

Fits perfectly woth the 4 lines of the chorus to Agadou. Line 4 is a different pace to the first 3 which may confuse the speed singers. If you dont mind a dubious search history click link tp see what I mean for line 4...

The N at the start of his surname is silent - pronounced KU-DU

OP I like it. There's some poor attempts at songs but NKoudou is perfect for the Agadoo song. Will the locals get their heads around the lyrics though ? I'm looking forward to hearing all the different attempts at his name :D

I think in African languages the ‘n’ at the beginning of a word is pronounced as a click. I might be chatting shite though.

Don’t be clever. Just change Nkoudou for Agadoo and keep the original lyrics and everyone will sing it !

You're probably right but in the current climate it would stir up allsorts of racist conotations.

Ag-a-doo-doo-doo, push pineapple, shake the tree
Aga-doo-doo-doo, push pineapple, grind coffee
To the left, to the right, jump up and down and to the knees
Come and dance every night, sing with a hula melody

The only thing currently springing to mind is
'Who the f*****g hell are you'?

No doubt everyone else knows everything about him though...

I hope he is a good 'un and can help us back to winning ways.

Got a name made for this -> https://youtu.be/0J2QdDbelmY

"We've got Georges N-kou-dou"

Simple. If pronouncing correctly, "Ku-Du",You'll need to find an extra syllable somewhere!

We can't write songs
We can't write songs
We're Burnley FC
And we can't write songs.
