Another poor showing today and to be fair 1-0 was flattering after the poor first half performance.

We need Wood back as we were too lame up front. Hendrick has got to be benched now have an option now on the left.

Oh well, bring on the Mancs!

A LOT better in the 2nd half and the loan man looked really lively but still we did not create ONE meaningful opportunity in the 90 minutes. 7th is magnificent but a Premier League team cannot rest on its laurels. Hendrick needs dropping...awful todayand has been since Brady`s injury. I would suggest Cork needs resting and Westwood drafting in and as good as I believe Bardsley has been, it`s time for Lowton to return. A major positive was Taylor`s performance...thought he was VERY good.

I eagerly await the arrival of the non-matchday thread intelligencia to call us all heathens and traitors, cry "how dare you all!!!!??????" and teach us the errors of our ways.

Really disappointing, not so much the result, but the abject first half performance.
Hendrick has been hooked after 70 minutes for the last God knows how many games, and we always look more threatening once he's off. I'm not putting all the blame on his head, but he along with others, needs a bloody rest, if only to get their heads straight.

We can't afford to start slowly and concede first at this level, because teams are too canny to break down once ahead, just as we are.

It's still a great season, so this game isn't going to change that.

Should Zaha have been sent off? Looked like he slapped Cork in the argy-bargy after Taylor's 'booking'. Could be wrong mind, had a crap stream.

Decent 2nd half, which we controlled so close and so far.

Good well contested game.

Up the Clarets.

Only Barnes and Taylor stood out as having a good game today. Nokudo looked ok when he came on , would like to see him from the start

Not great but certainly nowhere near as terrible a performance as some making out. Tarks looked a bit off his game and should have had a penalty given against him for diving in again when still 0-0. Bardsley was awful going forwards but I thought Taylor had his best league game for us. Hendrick poor again and Sam is nowhere near the player Wood (or Barnes) is. We’re not far off the levels we have been performing at in first half of the season and hopefully Wood and Ward will be back soon as we’re missing both
