Super Leeds - and another one bites the dust.
Oooops, there goes another manager.
That new club crest should have a bloke in a tracksuit gripping a P45...

When Leeds came to Turf Moor, they looked the real deal. Not sure what happened since?

The last time they came was a few weeks ago in the cup. We should have battered them.claptrappers_union wrote:When Leeds came to Turf Moor, they looked the real deal. Not sure what happened since?

Leeds foreign owners will appoint another foreign coach and he will get the sack before the end of season.
Need to appoint English manager to get out of the Championship.

Karanka got Middlesbrough out less than two years ago - Newcastle went up last season with Benitez and Huddersfield with Wagner.DAVETHEVICAR wrote:Leeds foreign owners will appoint another foreign coach and he will get the sack before the end of season.

They're in a never ending hire/fire cycle.
Quite funny watching the wheel turning again and again & and them not getting anywhere.
New manager needs to be a miracle worker to get them into the play-offs from here & they're a bit thin on the ground. Another foreigner probably.

I can’t see them recycling Monk or Grayson so I’m hoping they get McClaren, they deserve each other.beddie wrote:Plenty of Managers available.

The thing about Leeds, is if they come up, they'll probably stay up. A one city club, a big city, they'd have some huge money invested and would spend like it's going out of fashion. It wouldn't be good for us.
Re: Super Leeds - and another one bites the dust.
But they won't go up

How can they not work out that stability, continuity and a bit of faith is essential.
How many clubs, chelsea aside suceed with their approach in this country?

You could make the same argument about other clubs.FactualFrank wrote:The thing about Leeds, is if they come up, they'll probably stay up. A one city club, a big city, they'd have some huge money invested and would spend like it's going out of fashion. It wouldn't be good for us.
Problem is they haven't been in the top flight for 15yrs.
They're so out of touch with the top flight it will be a hell of a shock for them.
They'd have to over pay in wages and transfer fees, again, to lure people to the club.
It could take them a few efforts to get a foothold in the PL.
Re: Super Leeds - and another one bites the dust.
Do they deserve McClaren more than they deserve Clement though?BennyD wrote:I can’t see them recycling Monk or Grayson so I’m hoping they get McClaren, they deserve each other.
Clement is well suited to six month stints in management and, just like Leeds, has an impeccable European pedigree (aherm).

Re: Super Leeds - and another one bites the dust.
Leeds fan I know text me this morning. Said he was glad he’d gone, just not good enough. Says they need stability, then in the same sentence “the owner needs to go as well”
