Daily Express headlines
Daily Express headlines
Has there ever been a more Daily Express perfect headline than today?
The lead is “Yoghurt stops heart attacks”
Inset by a picture of ‘caring Diana’ who helped a cancer patient.
Above that is Corbyn’s links with Communist spy.
Only need an asylum seeker story for a full house.

Re: Daily Express headlines
I fully expect to see the following headline one day - Rejoice, we've dug up dead Di!
Re: Daily Express headlines
‘Killer wind and Monsoon rain set to lash GB in worst winter since records began’, is another Express favourite.

Re: Daily Express headlines
Ahhhhh, you guys have noticed a tabloid paper putting about tabloid headlines.
How observant you are.
With insight like this it can only be a matter of time until you're all recruited by the security services. If not then surely a spot on a BBC comedy panel show, at very least.

I tend to avoid the Daily Express at all costs. It was last readable in the mid 90s. The Beachcomber article was good for a giggle sometimes.burnley007 wrote:Feels like you're somehow managing to avoid the actual point here.

Haven't read it for nearly 2 decades now. Not worth it.

Re: Daily Express headlines
Really do wonder who reads the Daily Express....surely cannot be anyone under about 65 for a start. Seems to be aimed at people who find the Daily Mail too hipster. I assume their readership is steadily dying off so, thankfully, it’s own life expectancy is now short.
As well as health, weather and left-wing plots their 4th strand is pensions .
“ Corbyn slashes pensions as big freeze heaps flu misery on thousands” is their general thrust.

Re: Daily Express headlines
What sort of headlines do the newspapers were supposed to read use ? Or is there not a handy twitter account that collates them ?

Aren't newspapers a thing of the past?
Saying that there's a few on here who hang on every word printed in the guardian, a newspaper which appeals to teachers and uni activists.

I've got news for those of you who are still stuck in the 70s. They have online versions for us modern, forward thinking normal people.

Re: Daily Express headlines
Nothing. Newspapers like the Express and Star will stay the same. They print what they think their readers want to read in order to sell papers. It just seems that there are a number of people in this country obsessed by Princess Diana, how they can get ill and comrade Corbyn's revolution.Stacky_claret wrote:What's gunna happen now daily mirror has bought the express and star
